I wish for your life to be filled with God’s love and blessing. Now I want to share the grace with you through the message titled with “The Best Present.”
When a year is coming to an close, people look back at the past time and plan for the new year with an expectation. For the believers in God, the month of December is more special because it includes the Christmas Day celebrating the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ who came down to this earth to save us.
On Christmas we commemorate the birth of Jesus who is the Savior for all mankind, and render all thanks and glory to God. What is the reason? It is because Jesus, the Son of God, came to this world, was crucified and redeemed us from our sins.
Since the first man Adam committed the sin of disobedience, all his descendants became all sinners, and had to suffer all diseases, poverties and sorrows, and then finally destined go to eternal death. But since Jesus died on the cross on behalf of all sinners, the path to salvation has been paved for anyone who accepts Jesus Christ.
For Him to fulfill this providence for salvation of God, Jesus was born in a shabby stable and laid on a manger, suffered all kinds of afflictions and humiliations and live a poor life. He walked the way of sufferings to give us abundance and health.
He gave the hungry food, healed the sick of all kinds of diseases and illnesses, and solved all sorts of problems in life. He opened the eyes of the blind, made the deaf hear, enabled the lame to get up and jump, and revived the dead. His whole life was love and sacrifice for people. So, this Jesus is God’s best present for us, and the embodiment of God’s greatest love for us.
It is beautiful to give warm love and concerns to the poor and the abandoned in a cold season. But what is more beautiful and what God really wants us to do is to take care of and lead them to the path to salvation. It is because more serious it is to have spiritual hunger for the word of God than to be poor and hungry physically.
Therefore, may you give thanks and glory to God who saved us by sending Jesus Christ and spread the Savior Jesus Christ who is God’s best present and share His warm love with as many people, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I pray!
