Scripture: Isaiah 11:4
“Also righteousness will be the belt about His loins, and faithfulness the belt about His waist.”

I hope for your life to be filled with God’s love and blessing. Now I want to share the grace with you through the message titled with “The Belt of Truthfulness.”

The saying goes, “The journey of a thousand miles begins step by step.” In the same way, until you achieve your goal you have to go through all the processes necessary step by step. If you expect or try to earn millions of dollars with some wildly outlandish scheme you may be forced to do some unrighteousness and unlawful things.

In their desire to gain profits, some people consider using deceptive practices to cut costs in building houses and other buildings as easily and cheaply as possible The result is houses and buildings that have problems and that may even collapse. On the contrary, those who are upright never fail to go through the necessary processes step by step and lay firm foundations to solidly build upon. In no way do they want to wrongfully take what belongs to others, but methodically make gains following the right way of doing things.

Some Korean mothers separated a handful of rice from the amount of rice for one meal and put it aside in a jar. When the separated rice filled the jar, the mothers could purchase chicks with that rice and raise those chicks to make a larger amount of money with the eggs the grown chickens lay.

And then the mothers could buy pigs with that money, and in the same way they then bought calves. In olden times farmers depended on bulls for much of the work, so bulls were considered as a very great possession. So, when they were able to buy a bull-calf in that way. So, it was as saying goes “With enough dust you can make a mountain”

It is the same in accomplishing a dream and making a man competent. A young shepherd named David was anointed as the next king by the prophet Samuel, but it was not in a day that David sat on the throne.

God allowed many severe trials including being pursued by King Saul, his life was constantly threatened, he had days of hunger, and other afflictions came upon him. But it was through those trials David was able to possess faith as pure as gold and became worthy of being a king.

The wise are not impatient, nor do they expect a fortune just because they fully understand how anyone can become a great vessel only through trials. Instead they build with bricks of sweat and sincerity on the foundations of truthfulness and diligence just as a good architect builds a housed on a rock.

May each of you make righteousness the belt on your loins and make the best use of your time so that you can receive and enjoy the blessings God has prepared just as stated in Isaiah 11:4, “Also righteousness will be the belt about His loins, And faithfulness the belt about His waist,” in the name our Lord Jesus Christ I pray!
