Title: Power of God (4)
Text: John 14:10-12
In the Bible, countless works of Almighty God are recorded, and we can see that they appeared through many Old Testament prophets such as Elijah and Elisha, and through the apostles such as Paul and Peter, in addition to Jesus, the Son of God. Today, I will testify about this power, following on from the last time, about the concrete work that appears in the fourth stage of the power.
1. If you believe in the Apostles’ Creed from your heart, you must believe in any work of God.
In most churches, confessions of faith before God are made in the Apostles’ Creed during worship. There are several opinions about the origin and transmission of the Apostles’ Creed, but it is said that it became common to recite the Apostles’ Creed during worship services around the 12th century.
If we look at the contents of the Apostles’ Creed, it begins with ‘I believe in God the Father, Almighty, who made the heavens and the earth’. This confesses that Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of a virgin. It also confesses the resurrection that Jesus rose from the dead three days after his burial, the ascension that he ascended to heaven, and the second coming of the Lord to judge the living and the dead.
Then there are countless people who profess their faith like this, but do they really believe and confess from the heart? A true believer will believe in an all-powerful God who can do anything, and a God who is able to do any strange and strange thing. I believe in all the words of God in the Bible and believe that all kinds of mysterious things are true, so I believe that God is able to do anything that does not fit with modern science, theory, or our own thoughts or knowledge.
Therefore, those who believe and profess the Apostles’ Creed from the center of their hearts believe in the amazing works of God that are taking place in this church these days, and because they have such spiritual faith, they will personally meet and experience God.
2. Stage 4 of Power
Last time, it was said that the first stage of the power burns with the fire of the Holy Spirit through red light, and the second stage of power emits a laser beam-like light from the blue light and healing works. He also said that the 3rd stage of power works through colorless light, and depending on the viewer, it can be seen as white light. This light is sometimes said to be the light of glory. This light is God’s portion given to those who have achieved the whole spirit and also to those whom God acknowledges. I said it all.
The fourth stage of power, the last stage of power, is the stage of completion of power, and the history of dominating and ruling all things appears. In addition, a knight who moves the heavenly spirit appears and works of obedience to the commands of inanimate objects also appear, and the light that shows the power of these four stages is the golden light.
So, what is the meaning of the golden light that appears in the 4th stage of power?
The golden light means pure gold-like faith, that is, perfect faith itself, and it means complete obedience with only Amen and Yes, just as Jesus accomplished God’s will with only Amen and Yes. It is only with such perfect faith and obedience that the perfection of power can be achieved. God surrounds those who enter this dimension with a golden light.
3. Histories appearing in the 4 stages of power
Then, you can see the details of the works of people who belong to the 4th stage of power by looking at the works revealed through Jesus Christ.
First, in Matthew 8:23 and below, there is a scene where Jesus rebukes the wind and the sea, and there is a very calming scene. Then people are amazed, saying, “What kind of man is it that even the wind and the sea obey him?” Also, in Matthew 21:19, it is written, “When he saw a fig tree by the roadside, he went to it and found nothing but leaves, and said to the tree, “It will bear no fruit from you from now on forever.” And immediately the fig tree withered. .
In this way, nature and all things belonging to it, even inanimate objects such as wind and sea, obeyed what Jesus said. And when Jesus says something, you can see what happened.
For example, when he commanded Peter to ‘go out into the deep and let down the nets to catch fish,’ he obeyed and obeyed his words, and he was able to catch so many fish that the nets were torn (Luke 5:4-6). Also, there was a time when Jesus commanded Peter to go to the sea, throw a fishing line, bring the first fish, open his mouth, and pay the temple tax with one shekel of the money (Matthew 17:24-27).
In this way, just as God created the heavens and the earth with his words, the words of our Jesus soon became reality. In other words, if you believe completely, faith becomes the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1), and the work of creation takes place out of nothing.
However, there is a work that transcends time and space among the works of power that was only revealed through Jesus in the Bible.
In Matthew 8:5 and below, a centurion comes to Jesus for his paralyzed servant and confesses his faith, saying, “Only speak the word, and my servant will be healed.” Then Jesus said, “Go, let it be done as you have believed.” It is recorded that the servant was healed in that psalm.
Also in Mark 7:24 and below, there is a scene where a woman with a young daughter possessed by an unclean demon comes to Jesus and begs to cast the demon out of her. Seeing the woman’s humility and faith, Jesus said, “Go back, for the demon has gone out of your daughter.” When he returned to the house, he saw that a demon had gone out of the child. In this way, even if you do not go to a place where the sick person is, if you see the faith of the other person and give orders only with the word, it transcends time and space and works just happened.
The amazing history of repairing even broken machines through voice mail boxes, photos, and handkerchiefs, corsages, etc.
As such, in the 4th stage of the power, all the works belonging to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th stages of the power, such as the healing of diseases and the departure of the forces of darkness through the power that transcend time and space, as well as the appearance of signs and the obedience of all things, can appear. There is.
However, the most amazing thing among the powers that our Jesus performed was walking on water. This is a decisive event that clearly proves that all things in the world are under the authority of Jesus. So, in Matthew 14:33, you can see the people who saw Jesus walking on the water, bowing to Him who got into the boat, and confessing, “Truly, you are the Son of God.”
So, could these works of power that Jesus performed could only happen two thousand years ago?
It never is. In the text of John 14:12, Jesus clearly said, “He who believes in me will also do the works that I do.” It proves that it is happening.
In this church, many works belonging to the 4th stage of power have already appeared since the pioneering days. For example, even if you lose consciousness due to briquette gas and are found several hours later, if you pray, it will return to normal within 1 or 2 minutes, and you will be able to see that your body recovers without any aftereffects. This is because God worked so that even lifeless briquette gas would obey prayer. Also, if you pray to a person with a third degree burn that cannot be cured medically, “Open it and go away”, you will see it worked immediately.
In addition, numerous knights who moved the heavenly flag appeared and became an opportunity for the believers to possess great faith. For example, in a situation where thunder and lightning strike and the rain pours down into a torrential rain, if you pray ‘Let the wind stop, let the thunder and lightning, as well as the rain stop,’ everything will stop in an instant. ji.
And whenever we had an outdoor event at the summer retreat held every year, as soon as we prayed, we could experience countless miracles from God, such as clouds gathering from somewhere in the cloudless sky and allowing cool weather. I will continue to testify next week.
