Scripture: Romans 13:10
“Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.”
I wish for your life to be filled with the love and blessings of God. Now I want to share the grace with you through the message titled with “Cold Winter, but Warm Heart.”
When cold winter comes, the poor and the abandoned feel lonelier and become more worried than ever before. Many charity organizations raise funds to help poor neighbors. It is very important to look around after poorer neighbors and help them feel comfort and the warmth of love in their broken hearts.
Nonetheless, nothing is more important than to help souls gain salvation. In the 8th chapter of the Gospel of John we find that a woman was caught in the act of adultery. Her transgression was revealed to many people and the situation was at the point of her being stoned to death. She was most certainly caught up in intense shame and great fear.
The Law of the Old Testament commands them to stone adulterers and adulteresses to death, but Jesus helped them realize that we cannot condemn each other before God, saying “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.”
When they heard it, they began to depart one by one, beginning with the older ones. And Jesus and the woman were left alone, and Jesus said to the woman, “I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more.”
How many heartfelt tears this woman shed when she experienced this unexpected forgiveness and mercy of Jesus! As long as she lived she remembered His forgiving love, she would not sin anymore and she could not sin anymore.
Thus, Jesus gave this same mercy not only to the adulteress but also to all people and He fulfilled the law with love. He had no sin at all, but He was flogged and nailed through His hands and feet and wore the crown of thorns and poured out all His water and blood on the cross.
In the same way, when this power of love comes upon you, you can get rid of sins and practice the Word of God. When you advise someone with this love, he can repent and turn from his sins no matter what kind of sins he has committed.
Romans 13:10 says, “Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” So, may each of you try your best to lead as many souls on the path to salvation with the warm love in this cold season, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I pray!
