3st Spirit, Soul, Body (6)

In order to receive eternal life and enter the kingdom of heaven, we must put off the remarkable works of the flesh. Continuing from the past, I will testify against heresy, speculation, drunkenness, and debauchery.
The text says that those who do the works of the flesh will not inherit the kingdom of God, which means that they will not be saved. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved, and if we say we believe in the Lord and do works of the flesh, this is evidence that we do not have the faith to be saved. Therefore, even if we cannot forsake all our sins at once, if we really have faith and want to love the Lord, we will try to do away with them quickly no matter what.
1. Heresy
Heresy appears to be similar to Christianity, but is actually quite different. Some of today’s representative cults include Unification Church, Cheonbuism, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormonism, or Latter-day Saint Christianity, and there are numerous other cults around the world. They also say they believe in God, and they have a church-like shape, so they can be deceived.
However, no matter how similar they appear, in reality they have false doctrines that have nothing to do with salvation. Heresy is a gospel different from ours, and those who preach it or accept it will surely go down the road of destruction (Galatians 1:8). That is why you should not approach them so as not to be deceived by heresy (Titus 3:10).
Conversely, it is also a great sin to condemn a church that is not heresy as heresy. Moreover, if you condemn the altar where the power of the Holy Spirit is displayed or the servant of God who performs the power of God as heresy, you are opposing God, and you will not be able to receive forgiveness of sins because you are blaspheming the Holy Spirit and blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Today, too many people, without knowing the exact meaning of a heresy, condemn it as a heresy if it differs a little from their opinion.
So, what exactly is heresy? Heresy is denying the Lord who bought them, and denying the Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 2:1). Some sects say that Jesus is not the Son of God. Or, there are heresies that claim that Jesus failed to become a savior because he died on the cross, or that he needed another savior because he did not fully accomplish the work of salvation. At the same time, the teacher claims to be the savior or claims to be God.
However, there is no reason to be deceived by heresy even if you are well nurtured by “the message of the cross,” which contains four specific conditions for why only Jesus is the Savior.
To become a savior, you must first be a person. Because only humans have the qualifications to atone for the sins of all mankind, Jesus, who is the essence and Word of God, had to come to this earth in the flesh. So, if a person belonging to a cult claims, “Jesus came as a man, so he is not God”, you just need to realize that Jesus is the Son of God, but he had to come as a man to become the Savior.
Second, there must be no original sin. All people inherit original sin from their parents and ancestors, but Jesus is without sin because he was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, you are entitled to forgive the sinner’s sins.
Third, you must have spiritual strength. Only Jesus has no original sin and no self-sin, so He has the power to save mankind. If you know these facts right away, you will not be deceived even if anyone other than Jesus is your savior.
Fourth, there must be love. Only then can He receive the cruel punishment of the cross and die on behalf of sinners. According to the law of the spiritual world, “the wages of sin is death,” we who were sinners all had to go to death, but Jesus of love died on the cross to pay the wages of sin and buy life, so he became our savior. Therefore, salvation did not fail because Jesus died, but rather, because he died, salvation was accomplished.
Also, realizing that all those who claim to believe in God and deny the Savior Jesus Christ are false prophets and liars (1 John 2:22-23, 4:2-3), knowing the truth rightly and always waking up with the Holy Spirit Therefore, we must discriminate only the truth in any word or thing, so as not to be deceived by heresy.
2. Speculation
Envy is when envy or jealousy develops so badly that you do bad things to your opponent. Even in the history of our country, it is rare for women in the royal court to use all sorts of tactics to win the king’s love, to use magic to curse, slander, and frame the speculative object. If you have an outstanding servant and you are loved by the king, you will soon become a target of speculation. Other ministers use tricks to frame him and eventually drive him out of office or even kill him. This is a common occurrence in any country in the world.
If you look at the history of China, there is one very horrific incident caused by speculation. When an emperor loved his second wife and her son more than her own empress and crown prince, the empress became enraged and waited for the emperor to die to get revenge on her and her son. When the emperor finally died and her son became emperor, the empress seized her second wife and cut off her limbs and even her tongue. Moreover, he wanted to take revenge even more brutally, so he put the rest of his wife in a pig cage and treated him like a pig. Then he summoned the new emperor, his son, and proudly showed him what he had done. However, unlike the mother, the new emperor is very surprised and sad, and he makes great efforts to protect his second wife’s son, or half-brother, but in the end the empress assassinates even her son’s son.
If you have a good conscience, these things are terrible to even talk about. However, if you are burned with envy, you will be able to do things that are inferior to animals even in the form of a human being. The fact is that the sin of such horrific speculation comes from the same root as envy and jealousy.
3. Drunk
When you are drunk, you will not be able to control yourself, and you will not be able to discern right from wrong, so words and actions that should not be done may cause irreversible harm.
In the Talmud, there is a saying, “If Satan is too busy to come to a person, he sends alcohol instead.” Originally, in Israel, they drink wine because water is scarce, but just because the Israelites drank wine in this way, God never allowed them to get drunk. He is telling you to block it from the beginning so that you will not accept the temptation to get drunk (Proverbs 23:31). Moreover, he prohibits alcohol even more strictly from the king or those who are consecrated before God (Numbers 6:3; Proverbs 31:4).
If a person has a good conscience, he can realize for himself that it is unworthy to get drunk before God. People in the world don’t show drunkenness when they have to be polite or when dealing with difficult bosses, but even more so in the sight of God. Before I knew God, I always spent time with alcohol. But after I received the Lord, I did not drink or smoke when I went to church, even though no one taught me the truth. Even if no one said anything, I had already felt in my conscience that I could not go to church after drinking alcohol.
4. debauchery
According to the dictionary, debauchery means bad conduct because of drunkenness (that is, alcohol, women, gambling, various arts, etc.). There are people in the world who not only enjoy and get drunk on the lustful things, but are also completely absorbed and unrestrained. As a result, there are many cases where they cannot fulfill their responsibilities and do not even play the role of a human being.
For example, how much will the family suffer if the head of a household is addicted to alcohol and gambling and does not take care of the household at all? I saw something like this when I was younger. After harvesting a year of farming in the countryside or receiving a year’s wages, there are often people who fall into gambling and lose one year’s income in an instant. Sometimes they lost their houses and their fortunes, and sometimes even sold their own families to gamble.
But these days, it is said that debauchery is caused by luxury items called luxury goods. It is buying hundreds or tens of millions of won worth of bags, clothes, and ornaments with a credit card that does not fit into your fraction, and you cannot afford the payment. For example, it is said that a housewife bought a luxury item without her husband’s knowledge, owed a huge debt, and eventually divorced. They say that there is no way to repay the credit card, so some people steal and some end up taking their own lives. If we do not control our greed and act in debauchery, we will eventually lead to disaster and death.
Let God’s children never defile themselves in this debauchery (1 Thessalonians 4:3). If you continue to live a debauched life after receiving the Lord, you will not be able to give your heart to God or gain the strength to forsake your sins and become sanctified, so you cannot have the true faith to be saved.
Of course, our believers who long for the New Jerusalem will not fall into debauchery by pursuing such lustful things, but I hope you will take a look at these things in order to achieve more completeness. “Am I really loyal to my family?”, “Am I doing my duty in all fields?” “Am I doing my duty in all fields?”
Also, if you spend the time given to you on a large scale and are faithful to all your home, you will be able to feel the joy of God in your heart as the Father’s grace and power will come to you even more fully when you come to Daniel’s vigil and pray. there is.
Dear saints,
Up to now, I have looked at various things of the flesh for five hours, and even if I have given up on the things I have explained so far, since I am a person who follows the desire of the Holy Spirit, I will not be able to perform other works of the flesh by itself. Not only do we not commit crimes only through our actions, but we also cast away the sinful nature of our hearts. As children of the holy God, we too must be transformed into holiness every day (2 Corinthians 7:1).
Our members have received the promise of salvation and glory in the Lord, but they can come only to those who have true faith and obey the Word of God. Until the promise is fully fulfilled, I hope you will cast off all impurities of flesh and spirit. So, I pray in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that you will quickly complete your preparations to meet the Lord as children of light who completely obey God.
