Genesis 2:4-7
[4] This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made earth and heaven.
[5] Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the LORD God had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground.
[6] But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground.
[7] Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

This is the 45th Lecture on Genesis.

In the last lecture, I told you about how God rested on the 7th day after He finished the work of Creation.

Now, Genesis 2:4 says, “This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made earth and heaven.”

Genesis Chapter 1 explains in great detail the works of Creation on each day.

And Genesis 2:5-6 briefly explains again how the earth looked like before God created man.

And Genesis 2:7 shows how God created man, and Genesis 2:8 and onward explains the Garden of Eden in detail.

The rest of Genesis Chapter 2 explains how Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden.

And Genesis Chapter 3 talks about how sin entered into mankind, and the result of committing the sin.

Here, the actual process of human cultivation finally begins.

Simply put, the Creation of the heavens and the earth and all things are covered in Genesis Chapter 1, the creation of Man and of the Garden of Eden, in Genesis Chapter 2, and the beginning of human cultivation, in Genesis Chapter 3.

The purpose of God’s human cultivation is to get true children through it.

For this, Genesis Chapter 2 and 3 are devoted to explain in detail the core of human cultivation; that is, the creation of man, and the course of man’s committing sin.

I hope that you can remember this overall picture, as I now begin tonight’s lecture.

Genesis 2:5-6 briefly describes the look of the earth before man was created.

It says, “Now no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted, for the LORD God had not sent rain upon the earth, and there was no man to cultivate the ground. But a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground.”

Those of you who understand Genesis Chapter 1 can easily guess what day of Creation it is.

From what day of Creation did it rain onto the ground of the earth-

I said, as the sun, the moon, and stars were created on the 4th day, the atmospheric phenomena began to take place on earth.

Now, since Genesis 2:5 says, “the LORD God had not sent rain upon the earth,” it was before the 4th day of Creation.

In addition, it says, “no shrub of the field was yet in the earth, and no plant of the field had yet sprouted.”

It was the 3rd day of Creation when the plants were created on earth, wasn’t it-

Then, does Genesis 2:5-6 describe the look of the earth before the 3rd day of Creation-

Genesis 2:6 mentions about “the earth” and the “surface of the ground.”

It means the dry land already appeared.

Until the 2nd day of Creation, the whole earth was under the waters.

On the 3rd day, the waters gathered in one place to become the seas, and the day land appeared.

As the land which had been under the waters for long time appeared on the 3rd day, the surface of the ground was covered with fog due to the moisture which the ground had kept in itself.

Therefore, it was the 3rd day of Creation, before the plants were created when the seas and the land were not split.

By the way, from Genesis 2:6, which notes that “a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground,” you can find one important fact.

That is, the ground of the earth interacts with the atmosphere, and it lives and breathes.

As God created the expanse on the 2nd day, He created the atmosphere so that it would contain proper constituents for the living creatures.

This atmosphere contains not only the physical constituents which are necessary to the living creatures, but it also contains ‘spiritual constituents,’ which is the life force.

It is the same with what is termed “the ground.”

The ground had been submerged under the waters for long time.

And thus, the ground also came to have life by this ‘life force.’

Genesis 12:6 says, “a mist used to rise from the earth and water the whole surface of the ground” to describe the phenomena resulted from the interaction between the living earth and the atmosphere.

People say, “The ground is alive.”

When a small seed is planted, the ground causes it to sprout and grow.

And it helps the seed to bear hundreds to thousands or much more fruit of its kind.

The Bible says that as a seed is planted in the fertile field, it can bear 30, 60, or 100 times more fruit.

However, a fruit tree such as an apple tree and a pear tree which grows up from one seed bears many fruit every year.

Thus the sum of all of its fruit is many more than “thousands of times”.

It is the ground that does the work to make the seed sprout, grow, and bear fruit.

Even though the ground doesn’t have an actual respiratory organ, it surely does function biologically.

When God created the earth, God put such ability into the ground.

And He allowed for living things to survive on this ground.

Chances are that, if a man were to continuously live where there is no ground, he would have problems with his body.

Of course, those who control their body in the spirit have nothing to do with this.

But those who are not able to may have problems with their body if they don’t have any contact with ground at all for long time.

As they breathe in stepping on the ground that is alive, the life force contained in the ground will have beneficial effect on them.

When I was young, there was something that I did quite a few times because it was so interesting.

When I caught a frog and threw it onto the ground, it seemed dead with its limbs not moving at all.

I would then bury it in the ground.

After about 30 minutes the frog, which I assumed dead, recovered its strength and jumped out of the ground.

To the eyes of a young boy, the frog was most certainly dead for sure, but after it was buried in the ground for awhile, it revived. It was very interesting and mysterious to me.

As I watched it, I thought to myself, “The ground may have an amazing power.”

Through the lecture on Genesis, God said that He made the ground to keep the life force.

The same applies to the atmosphere.

In the atmosphere, there are not only physical constituents such as oxygen and carbon dioxide which are necessary to living things, but there is also life force that God put into it.

Thanks to interactions in an with the ground, the atmosphere, and all the living things, the phenomenon of life is able to be perpetuated on earth.

Now, what is the reason that God briefly describe the works of Creation as in Genesis 2:4-6-

It is to emphasize that it is God Himself who created all things on earth where there were no living things but mist.

The ONE who created the phenomenon of life to take place by the interaction between the ground and the atmosphere; the ONE who made trees and plants to grow in the earth and vegetables in the fields; this is the ONE who is God Himself.

This is to emphasize the fact that the ONE who also created man to cultivate the field and farm the land is none other than God.

Likewise, He mentions again that the Creator of all things is God, and then He moves on to the creation of man.

That is, in Genesis 2:7 it says, “Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”

“The LORD God,” in other words, “God the Father” created man before the eyes of God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, and many angels.

He didn’t created man only with His word, but He Himself formed man.

The fundamental material that God used to create man was neither gold that never changes nor iron that is hard.

It was from ‘the ground.’

God told me that this “ground’ was in fact pure earthen clay.

Now, how did God make man from this ground-

Just as you made a certain shape from clay in an art class, did God made the whole shape of man from the ground-

Though He created the shape like that, how did He make all the intestines, nerve system, and blood vessels-

Even the shape itself doesn’t look simple enough.

The hair, eyebrows, the hair on the skin, and the detailed grain of skin; all of these should be made from the ground.

How was it ever even possible to make these intricately delicate parts from the ground-

You may simply think, “All is possible with the power of God.”

That’s right, all is possible with the power of God.

Now, let me tell you how God created man from now on.

God had all the information about the creature, called “man.”

He had a ‘blueprint’ with a plan how He would create man.

When God made the shape of man according to this blueprint, the original light continuously came out from God’s fingertips.

As God made the head of man, it was not a lump of the ground any more, but a perfect head of man.

He didn’t make every part individually such as hair, eyes, nose, mouth, and ears one by one.

Two eyes in the upper part of a face, a nose in the middle of the face, a mouth under the nose, two ears on each side of the face, and so on¡¦

Just as God planned ahead, the number of parts, their locations, and their functions were created by the original light from God’s fingertips.

From the head, to neck, to torso, to arms and hands, and to legs and, by the touch of God’s fingertips from which the original light came out, man came to a perfect shape.

Even before God blew the breath of life into Adam, Adam already had this shape.

His skin was not dork brown like mud, but it had beautiful milky color.

The length of his hair was made a little shorter than that of God the Father’s; it reached to just about the base of his neck.

Simply speaking, his hair was blonde.

TO be more specific though, it may seem white at a first glance, but it also had a dimmed golden color.

He had strong figure, but he was neither slim nor fat.

He was about 5 feet 10 inches tall.

He was perfect from his head to toe; he had such a beautiful form.

There was a word that God the Father spoke as He made Adam with His love and heart.

Let me introduce the part of it.

Truly, My long wish and My hope is contained in this

I wish all that I have hoped and planned may be accomplished perfectly by the beautiful works that I do

My power and touch makes it possible to create these organs and everything

I will be glorified through this man whom is being made beautifully

Through his children, and his descendants upon descendants, My beauty, kindness, gentleness, and My love and mightiness will be proclaimed

I make his mouth beautifully, I make his lips, his ears, his hands, his legs, and everything about him beautifully

As he is born, My long wish and hope will come true

Will he truly understand My heart- Will he feel My heart-

Will he ever understand this Father’s heart of love who makes every organ and every cell in his body-

My long wish makes it possible to give birth to him, and all of these will last till the end for My glory

You can understand how much in great hope and love God made the first man, Adam.

By the way, God the Father had great expectation not only when He created Adam, but also when you were conceived in your mother’s womb.

A new life is conceived as the combination of a sperm and an egg of parents, it is God who gives the sperm and the egg.

Moreover, it is also God the Father who made you grow up in your mother’s womb, and allowed for you to be born into the world, and grow up.

Most of all, it is God the Father who put the never-dying and eternal seed of life into the spirit and planted it in you.

Therefore, both in a physical sense and in a spiritual sense, God the Father is your true and the true Father.

Such God the Father wants to receive glory from you, just as He hoped to receive it from Adam.

God the Father wishes for you to understand His heart and His love.

I do hope that you will make His long wish come true.

Dear brothers and sisters.

After God the Father made Adam with His love and heart, Adam already had the perfect image of man even before God blew the breath of life into him.

The only thing that he did not yet have was life.

To make it easy to understand, it was like the body after its spirit and soul left the body.

Then, God blew the breath of life into his nostrils.

Here, the ‘breath of life’ is ‘God’s power contained in the original light.’

As this breath of life entered into Adam’s body, he finally came to life and began to move.

His heart started to beat, blood began to circulate through his entire body, and all the organs and cells in his body began to work.

It was just as electricity is provided and all the parts of a non-working and the machine begins to operate.

If it is electricity that gives life to a machine, it is the breath of life that gives life to man’s body.

As the breath of life, which is the original power of God, entered into the nucleus that is focal point in Adam’s body that God made from the ground, Adam came to life and began to move.

His eyes could see things, his ears could hear sounds, and he could stand up and walk.

His brain also began to work.

He could store what he saw, heard, and learned into the memory system of his brain.

Since Adam lived in a place where there was no evil at that time, no untruth or evil was input.

God the Father also taught him only the knowledge of the truth.

All the thoughts, that is, the retrieving of what is stored into brain cells, is defined as ‘soul.’

Now, did the work of soul take place in Adam, a living being-

Adam did see, and he heard, and he had the input the truth as well, and he retrieved the truth as thought and he spoke the truth of the input.

In other words, he also had the work of soul that belonged to the truth.

However, the [part of him that supervises this work of thought that belonged to the truth was not his soul, but his spirit.

Every moment, the work of soul that belonged to the truth didn’t take place at his own will, but it was done automatically by the lead of spirit.

“Soul” was like a servant that only obeys to his master, “spirit.”

Therefore, when Adam was a living being, there was no need to separate spirit from soul.

All worked under the lead of spirit.

However, after Adam committed the sin of disobedience, his spirit died according to the law of the spiritual realm, and from that moment on, his soul began to work as a master.

I will tell you its result in great detail as we get to Genesis Chapter 3.

God the Father made the first man, Adam, as a strong young man.

This young man, Adam, grew up a little after awhile.

I cannot explain precisely how long it was, but he grew up a little bit more until he could father children and bring them up.

He grew up until he became mature as a man, and then he maintained that status, state and stature.

His body didn’t age, and no part of his body became degraded.

For the time as Adam lived in the Garden of Eden, the breath of life that God blew into him surrounded his entire body.

In addition, the Garden of Eden where Adam lived is a spiritual place, and it doesn’t ride on a fleshly flow.

Therefore, even though Adam was made from the ground of this earth, he was full of the breath of life, and he could maintain his sound and healthy body.

It was the same for the descendants who were born of Adam and Eve, who was created after Adam.

I already explained why in the “Seed of Life” lecture.

The breath of life that God blew into Adam automatically was inherited to Adam’s descendants that he gave birth to in the Garden of Eden.

And it made the whole of the descendants of Adam in the Garden of Eden living beings.

Adam’s descendants in the Garden of Eden are such living beings, and thus as they are born and they grow up, they are affected all the time by the breath of life.

As their body parts develop and grow up, the nucleuses that build each parts produce the best result thanks to the breath of life.

There is no way that something goes wrong during the cell division, or something wrong with DNA.

And so, there is no baby who is deformed or has infirmity from the birth in the Garden of Eden; only healthy babirs are born.

In addition, as the children grow up, they are affected by the breath of life, and thus they grow well and remain healthy as well.

This is way all the people in the Garden of Eden are all tall and handsome and beautiful.

I said the length of a man’s hair reaches the bottom end of his neck; the length of a woman’s hair is twice as long.

Men don’t grow beards or mustaches.

The people in the Garden of Eden grow up until they just pass the age of a young man.

And at a certain point of time, they stop growing, and their body doesn’t age after that; thus they can maintain the status at that point of maturity.

The reason is because the original power of God controls and rules over the nucleus which fundamentally controls the body.

I will continue to explain about the “living being” who is full of the breath of life in the next lecture.

I will also explain how different this living being is from the holy body; the resurrected body which those believers will put on as the Lord comes back in the air. And I will tell you the spiritual reason why God created man from the ground.

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

In this lecture, I briefly reviewed the work of Creation, and I explained how God created the first man, Adam.

When God the Father made Adam, He did it with His love and heart in great hope and expectation.

When He made his lips, He wanted him to sing praises with the lips.

When He made his ears, He wanted him to give ear to the word of God the Father and obey it.

When He made eyes, He wanted him to look up at God the Creator with the eyes, and also feel the beauty of all things.

Just as I said now, God the Father wants to be loved by man whom God created in His own image.

He also wants to hear praises and to receive glory.

I wish you can feel such a heart of God the Father.

May you become His pleasing child who can meet His expectation and make His hope come true, in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ, I pray!

[Amen!!!]
