Scripture

[Revelation 3:7]
“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: He who is holy, who is true, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, and who shuts and no one opens,”

I wish for your life to be filled with God’s love and blessing. Now I want to share the grace with you through the message entitled “Key of David.”

The very thing we need to open a warehouse that contains a lot of treasures. Only the person who has the key to the warehouse is able to open it and enjoy the treasures contained. God gave David the king of Israel the key to doors to all kinds of blessings. It’s because David was after the heart of God and really qualified for that.

But David has to endure the time of severe trials until he was deemed qualified by God. One day King David took the wife of one of his men and made the man be killed by the gentiles to conceal his wrongdoing.

With this incident many people think why God recognized him as a man after the heart of God even though he committed such a great sin. It is true that he committed a great sin, but it was not because he was still more wicked than others. Because of his position of the king of a nation, he developed a small form of evil and it grew and became a seriously great sin.

At that time David ruled over many countries and had the powerful authority with which he could do whatever he wished to. Anyone can easily put any kind of desires of his heart into action only if he comes to possess such a powerful authority.

It means that no matter what a small evil you have is it can develop into outward sins once proper conditions and environments are given.

Just as 1 Corinthians 10:12 says, “Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall,” you have to struggle against and throw away your sins without ceasing through the word of God and prayer until you get rid of every form of evil.

God knew that there was this form of evil within deep in his nature, and so He allowed David trials so that he could find himself and accomplish complete sanctification. Through those severe trials, in the end, David was made complete and God gave him the key to doors to blessings.

This key to all kinds of blessings was not given only to David but is given to anyone who loves God, becomes holy and truthful resembling the Lord. Our God wants to give the same key to one more person who can be deemed to get qualified for receiving the key.

May you have the qualifications God wants you to and receive the keys not only to the doors to the blessings including good health, wealth, fame, and power according to the amount of your vessel but also to the door to New Jerusalem, the most beautiful kingdom of heaven, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I pray!
