This is Dr. Jaerock Lee, Senior Pastor of Manmin Central Church in Seoul, Korea. I wish for your life to be filled with God’s love and blessing. I want to share God’s grace with you through this message titled “The God Who Created Everything in this World.”
At times there are people who ask such questions as, “How was this world created?” and “Where did man come from and where is he going?” Schools today teach only Darwinian Evolutionism, so most of people have come to believe that the universe came into being by chance and living organisms have evolved until today. Thus, they deny that God created the universe and everything therein, and they fail to realize the existence of heaven and hell. They just seek earthly pleasures and end up living their lives in vain.
Even Charles Darwin, the founder of Darwinian Evolutionism, confessed that God is the Great Creator. When many friends came to him just before his death, he said to them, “I have been foolish. I have been skeptical of everything and every kind of phenomena. Evolutionism is one of them. Unfortunately many people held fervently to that theory as their religion and denied the creation by God. I would like to ask you to testify to the great creation of God and the grace of the Redemption of Jesus Christ.’
The houses we are living in were never built haphazardly by chance. Somebody designed and built them. In the same way, the very person who designed and created the universe and everything in it is the Only True God.
The Book of Genesis clearly depicts God’s creation of the heavens and the earth and everything in them. Genesis 1:1 reads, “God created the heavens and the earth,” and the same Book 2:7 says, “Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”
Every tongue, every tribe and every race has two eyes, two ears, one nose, two nostrils and one mouth. The facial structure of every man is perfectly identical. Some may ask “They are the same because they are men.” But this tells us that all the people have come from one man and one woman.
And we can realize the first man and woman were made by the One Creator God. If there were many creators, some people would have a several eyes and the facial structure would be different depending on the designs and plans of each of the creators.
Apart from this, we can feel the touch of God through various phenomena in nature. For example, the attraction of the moon causes the ebb and flow of the tides and causes the sea to move and purify itself. The winds blow, water evaporates and clouds form and move to give rain that falls on the ground. All these are essential to the survival of all living creatures.
Even this one fact should enable you to fully believe that God created the universe and everything therein. I urge each of you to believe that God is the Creator, He is still alive and He governs everything. He alone controls life and death, fortune and misfortune of mankind. Obey Him the way Abraham did and gain salvation and eternal life and enjoy blessing on earth, in the name of our Lord I pray!
